Tooltronics presents the Vision Engineering ProteQ VISO, an innovative 3D Digital Stereo Microscope, at WoTS 2026
Stand: 9A107
Vision Engineering, a globally leading manufacturer of ergonomic microscopes and digital visualization solutions, recently introduced the ProteQ VISO, an innovative digital stereo microscope that enables true 3D image viewing on a flat screen, without the need for eyepieces or 3D glasses. The integrated ‘autostereo’ display with eye-tracking technology delivers brilliant, eye-friendly 3D images while giving users complete freedom of head movement, without 3D glasses or traditional microscope eyepieces.
The ProteQ VISO has been developed for demanding inspection tasks, prototype development and precision assembly work, for example in electronics, medical device manufacturing and prototype construction. Its ergonomic design, featuring an adjustable screen, an upright sitting position and 10:1 zoom, provides maximum comfort and efficiency during extended periods of use.
Eye-tracking autostereo display
The ProteQ VISO’s autostereo display is based on 3D LED display technology that requires no additional glasses or other aids to produce vivid 3D images. Users experience an impressive 3D view with reduced eye strain. Two cameras integrated into the monitor drive the eye-tracking software, ensuring that users see perfectly clear 3D images while being free to move their heads naturally.
Ergonomically designed for efficiency
The upright viewing position, adjustable screen and comfortable viewing experience of the ProteQ VISO take ergonomic microscopy to a new level – reducing signs of fatigue and maximizing productivity during extended periods of use. Combined with live magnification display and seamless 10:1 zoom, users can work accurately, quickly and comfortably.
The microscope’s stereo imaging function enhances depth perception and enables intuitive 3D interaction during inspections and prototype development. When collaboration is important, users can switch to mono view to conduct real-time discussions and collaborative analyses – both in person and remotely.
Enhanced digital collaboration and connectivity
The ProteQ VISO offers a range of digital features for modern technical teams:
- Image capture, viewing and streaming: capture images and videos to USB drives or a PC and share them effortlessly across different platforms.
- Picture-in-picture and overlays: compare reference views with live images, with support for overlays and the ability to save settings in advance.
- Annotation and measurement tools: add notes, measure features and optimize reporting.
- Peripheral and network integration: compatible with external software such as Dimension Two; users can access email, Teams and files directly from the user interface.
The system also incorporates thoughtful details for specific applications, including modern object illumination and a detachable display. Lockable mounts, quick-change lighting components, an optional 360° angle optic and transmitted illumination provide maximum precision and flexibility.
